Verbs are the backbone of Spanish ... fortunately many are "regular," meaning they all use the same conjugation pattern. Learning that pattern simplifies life.
All verbs end in either -ar, -er, -ir. Here's the pattern for each ending (not shown, second person plural, used in Spain).
